The objective of ChemSite is individual support of start-ups in the chemical industry. To this end, ChemSite cooperates with chemically oriented technology centers jointly doing business under the umbrella of the Bundesverband der Deutschen Innovations-, Technologie- und Gründerzentren (Federal Association of German Innovation, Technology, and Start-Up Centers) headquartered in Berlin.

ChemSite offers a wide range of services to interested founders of a new business. The support exceeds by far the basic consulting and support services provided by technology centers. What has to be highlighted, besides the know-how of many experts, are especially the functions "switchboard to the chemical industry" and "door opener to the most innovative fields of modern chemistry".

We support your start-up project in the chemical and related industries in a comprehensive manner, from the development of your business ideas and concepts into business plans to be presented to the bank for financing purposes, to search for sites and infrastructure in the region to financing. Moreover, we accompany your start-up enterprise during the early stage until successfully entering the growth stage. In addition, you will receive economic and commercial consulting and support.

Jointly with our cooperation partners, our wide range of services includes in detail:

• Individual start-up consulting including assessment of the start-up concept

• Assistance in establishing the business plan

• Information on seminars for founders of a new business, opportunities for qualification and advanced training

• Information on allowance to consulting cost

• Information on furtherance of consolidation of newly established businesses

• Information on public subsidies (e.g. “Gründungszuschuss”, “Einstiegsgeld”, “Meistergründungsprämie NRW”, investment grants, etc.)

• Arrangement of existing properties and/or industrial real estates

• Support in regulatory affairs with public authorities from business registration to building law

• Contact arrangements to the regional economy, to industrial chambers, authorities, etc.
