Small and medium-sized companies in the chemical and chemical-related industry are one of the keystones of the economy in North Rhine-Westphalia. Promoting small- and medium-sized business is very important to ChemSite. One of the most important responsibilities of the initiative is therefore to support small and medium-sized companies in the Ruhr area, so that they have a better grasp of their current and future tasks. ChemSite is the central point of contact, advice and services for small and medium-sized companies in the chemical and chemical-related industries. Advice is given in the strictest confidence and the comprehensive service is free of charge.

• Advice on investment financing and grant options.
• Information on training and payroll subsidies as well as investment grants.
• Information loans to strengthen equity, equipment and investment credit.
• Contact mediation with companies, credit institutions, the authorities and regional institutions (attorneys, etc.).
• Support in the planning and implementation of building projects, particularly in connection with the handling of official approval procedures.
• Mediation with regard to construction law advice.
• Support for building application procedures.
• Mediation for existing and/or commercial real estate.
