MC-Bauchemie making consistent site investments

17.02.2012

MC-Bauchemie continues to invest at the Bottrop site. The company built a state-of-the-art facility to manufacture basic raw materials for the production of concrete additives at the Am Kruppwald location last year, which is now slated for expansion.

MC-Bauchemie has consistently expanded its international locations and its German headquarters in Bottrop over the past years. In addition to expanding the production areas, loading and logistical areas and the high-bay warehouse, this also included a state-of-the-art facility for manufacturing basic raw materials for concrete additives to expand the company’s additive business. Current plans now call for adding a boiler with a distillation unit to this facility to ensure the availability of additional basic raw materials. The necessary aggregates will be integrated into the existing building at the Am Kruppwald location. According to statements of the company, the effective exhaust gas cleaning system will prevent all relevant emissions.

As reported recently on the occasion of the company anniversary, the name of MC has stood for progressive solutions for hardening concrete and preserving building structures for the past 50 years. This reputation has turned the mid-sized company into a leading international provider of construction chemicals and technology.

Today, the company’s research, development, and production occur at more than twenty production sites. Throughout thirty affiliates in Europe and overseas, the company’s product advisors are available as contacts for engineers, operators, and users of buildings and facilities as well as for construction companies.

The group currently employs some 1,900 people, with more than sixty percent of business operations outside of Germany.
